Con sede a Bruxelles, la ANEC -  European Consumer Voice in Standardisation - offre uno stage di 6 mesi per uno studente universitario. E' prevista una retribuzione.
Inizio il prima possibile, scade il 1 marzo 2013.

Job Description
ANEC brings together representatives of the national consumer organisations in 33 European countries (27 EU, 3 EFTA & Croatia, Macedonia (FYROM) and Turkey). We act as the voice of the European consumer in the development of European legislation related to consumer products and services and in the elaboration of European technical standards intended to support the implementation of that legislation. We also have interest in the use of third-party certification schemes and marks as means to improve consumer protection and welfare.
We are seeking to recruit an intern for an internship of 6 months, ideally from the beginning of May 2013.
A main task will be supporting the ANEC Programme Manager for Environment & Services and her Assistant in the co-hosting of a follow-up conference to the very successful ANEC/ASI-CC/BEUC Conference of October 2011 on chemicals in products.
The conference is planned to be held in Brussels during October 2013.
A secondary task will be to aid the ANEC Programme Manager for Traffic & Research in analysing data on the availability of certain Child-Restraint Systems on the market.
Other tasks will comprise supporting the ANEC Programme Managers in their day to day activities, including:
  •  routine office management in association with the three ANEC Assistants
  •  ensuring communications between the ANEC Secretariat and ANEC Working Group members and experts (distributing information and requests to ANEC members, replying to queries from ANEC members)
  •  organisation and follow-up of meetings (hosting, accommodation, invitations, registrations, drafting the minutes, administrative support at the meetings)
  •  proof-reading of documents in English
  •  participation on behalf of ANEC in selected meetings
Candidates must be in full-time education, studying for either a first university degree or higher. They should be able to demonstrate an interest in consumer protection issues, technical standardisation or conformity assessment.
Those with particular skills or experience in the organisation of conferences or similar events will be at a particular advantage.
Fluent spoken and written English is required, with other European languages an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
Candidates should be self-starters, able to work autonomously and with minimal direction.
The internship will be paid.
Applicants should send a CV and letter of motivation (both in English) to Stephen RUSSELL by 1 March 2013, using this FORM.
